We offer health coaching to reduce stress  in our lives, so join Kaizen Advanced Health Coach Jo Cordell-Cooper for 4 online sessions  and one follow up check in held over 104 days .  Within a small group of like minded people we will address your unique stress issues and gently coach you back to a more health focused life where you can improve how you feel bit by bit.  Stress comes in many forms and might be emotional, nutritional, environment or you may have an underlying anxious personality.  Our purpose is to reduce stress in your life as managing stress underpins all other aspects of your health, one way or another.  We specialise in helping you live well.  We are proudly pro-food so you can expect a focus on good clean eating, re-jigging your day to prevent overwhelm and we will gently hold you accountable.

What’s The Kaizen approach

Kaizen is a Japanese word and a business philosophy of continuous improvement – bit by bit or step by step, with incremental steps toward the ultimate goal.  Applied to a health context we know that behaviour and habit change takes time and that’s why we do not offer quick fix style challenges.  Over 104 days of you deciding what you are going to change and we hold you accountable to fulfilling your potential.  Even small changes can make a big difference to how you are feeling every day.

If you do not meet your goal there is no punishment or humiliation, but we do ask about what needs to be tweaked so you can succeed – this might be a total change in the goal set or a different approach.  Our most successful clients change just a few things at a time and build on these successes over time.

Why 104 days

The #104Will is a cause deep to the heart of all Kaizen practitioners.  Angela Jenkins (co-owner of the Kaizen Institute of Health and my personal mentor) gave birth to her first child Will but he was born too early.  He was here for the shortest of times, just 104 days.  While this might sadden you Ange chooses to share and be motivated by the lessons Will taught her.

He taught us gratitude for the working bodies that we have been given and to do our best to look after them rather than mistreat them.  He taught us how lucky we are to be given a set of lungs that work and to be able to take the breath of life. Will’s only breath on his own were his final breaths.  Most importantly he taught us how precious life is, how short it can be and how blessed we are to be given the most precious gift of all – the gift of life.

So let’s live it.

How do I attend health coaching to reduce stress?

Via a video conferencing platform called ZOOM we will meet for 60 minutes (maximum 6 participants) for your small group health coaching session.  We will meet on day 1, 28, 56 and 84.  All sessions will be videoed so if you miss a session or need to leave before it concludes you can access the session as many times as you like.   Using 2 questionnaires we will investigate not only the adrenal stress indicators (ie a self assessment of how stressed you are and which areas are to be addressed) but also the actual causes.  We will offer a private facebook group exclusively for the 6 of you where you can share successes and challenges.
