All personal trainers have their favourite tools to work with. For me, a defining point in my development as a PT is definitely the gymstick training. Originally I trained in shallow water aqua gymstick, but then expanded my expertise to create deep water gymstick classes and finally land based gymstick classes and personal training To me, I see this as a time-effective training tool that is multi-directional, easily adaptable in terms of resistance, simple to use and effectively works the heart, muscle strength, core and posture. The by-line is that it’s ‘simply effective’, a ‘gym on a stick’ – I don’t mean to sound like an ad, but I am sold. Not only was I impressed at the training, but my participants got results from day 1.
